About

The Band

Modern country rock with southern roots, out of Charleston, South Carolina. Five players, a full PA and a set that changes depending on who is in the room.

Where the sound comes from

The set pulls from country and rock the crowd already knows, current hits, and the band's own material. What holds it together is the live delivery, big guitars, a rhythm section that sits in the pocket, and a frontman who works the room instead of standing behind a mic stand.

The band works weddings, corporate events, festivals and regular venue nights across the Lowcountry. Different rooms need different things, and the group treats a reception with the same preparation as a Saturday night bar show.

How we work

  • Own PA, lighting and backline, no scrambling for gear
  • Early load-in and a real sound check before doors
  • Setlist adjusted to the venue and the audience
  • Announcements and crowd engagement handled on the mic
  • Break music so the room never goes silent
  • Acoustic option for cocktail hours and smaller rooms

The Lineup

Five permanent members

Tanner Beane

Vocals, Guitar

Frontman. Came up singing in church and on stage in theater, which shows in the delivery. Leans on artists like Koe Wetzel and Jason Aldean, and writes with an eye toward telling a story.

Jamie Dyer

Drums

Full Sail University graduate who also runs Spektra Soundlab. Started early and plays for the song, a pocket player rather than a show-off.

Phillip Gerard

Guitar, Vocals

Self-taught, with Stevie Ray Vaughan and southern rock in his playing. Goes wireless on stage and co-writes with Tanner.

Tad Fletcher

Bass

Charleston native Tad Fletcher has been a fixture in the local music scene since 2000. A music major from James Madison University, Tad brings decades of live experience and a deep musical foundation to Tanner Beane & Dirty Power.

His approach to bass is anything but passive. Tad brings movement, groove, and melodic, danceable bass lines that lock in the rhythm section while giving the music an energy of its own. Whether he's driving a Southern rock groove or laying into a country pocket, his focus is simple: serve the song, move the crowd, and make it feel good.

Jason Cowert

Guitar, Vocals

Belmont University alum with time spent in Nashville. Brings the country grit and the slide work.
